Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and providing general corporate information
  • Greeting customers and guests
  • Accounts Receivable (collection calls)
  • Accounts Payable
  • Scheduling Coordination
  • Assisting management with standard office tasks such as copying, collating, documentation, etc.
  • Assisting management with improving overall workflow and business processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Education level must be a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. The assistant must be capable of taking a task with minimal instructions and exceeding expectations, with strong follow up skills and be detail oriented. Fire Alarm Systems Designer

Responsibilities:

Work with a team of designers and drafters to develop the plans, schematics, and specifications for the fire alarm system.

Qualifications:

5-7 years experience developing construction documents and specifications for a fire alarm system that consists of a fire alarm network, area and duct smoke detectors, audible notification system, visual notification system, pull stations, fire door release, elevator control, and monitoring of the fire protection system that is designed by others. A good knowledge of the NFPA National Fire Alarm Code is required. Candidate will work in a team environment so good communication skills are required. AutoCAD experience is required. 3D experience is a plus.

  • Establish contact with prospect and qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up of leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.

Fire Alarm Service Technician

Life Safety Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Technician. This position requires the ability to service and repair fire alarm and security systems. The successful candidate will also work alongside the marketing and sales team and to assist with prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • servicing, inspecting, and testing fire alarm, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems
  • installation of low voltage systems.
  • ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards
  • on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs. This will require on-call availability
  • Complete and submit all required task-related activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • NICET licensing or other fire certifications preferred
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills.
  • A valid motor vehicle license is required
  • Ability to use both hand and power tools

Commercial Low-Voltage Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and providing general corporate information
  • Greeting customers and guests
  • Assisting management with standard office tasks such as copying, collating, documentation, etc.

  • Assisting sales department with:
  • Organizing bid schedule
  • Obtaining required bid documents from clients
  • Creating job folders
  • Producing construction document take-offs
  • Assisting with proposal development process
  • Other duties as assigned.
